We couldn’t wait to get the doors open this morning to welcome the boys and girls of our new nursery class! There was lots of excitement and a few nerves, but they weren’t long finding something fun to play with. There was a lot to take in. They found out how to sign in when they come in, where to put their coats and water bottles and discovered their own special tray for all their lovely pieces of art work. There was so much to see and do! We had a little bit of time on the mat at the end of our session just to see how everyone was feeling. When asked about their favourite thing they played with, there was a mixture of responses. The kitchen was very popular, as was the sand. Everyone agreed that they had fun and can’t wait to come back tomorrow! They got special stickers for being superstars today. We can’t wait to have lots of fun and adventure with this wee bunch!
