What a lovely morning we had today! Lynda-Jane from Music Bugs came to visit us. We went over to the hall in the ‘big school’. Lynda-Jane had mats out for us. Our first job was to choose two instruments from a big bucket. We sang the Hello song. Lots of other songs followed! We did Jingle Bells and We wish you a merry Christmas. We then got a big yellow sheet out for Five Little Reindeers. When we were singing Christmas Pudding, Mr Gilchrist came in. He couldn’t resist joining in with the Reindeer Hokey Cokey. We were very excited to get our own shark for Santa Shark. Lynda-Jane was very impressed with how well we knew this song. The parachute came out for Rocking Around the Christmas Tree and there were lots of balls bouncing all over it! We also sang Jingle Bell Rock. We got special pom-poms for Rockin’ Robin. Our instruments were back in action again for Santa Clause is coming to Town. We finished off by singing The Goodbye Song. We had a fantastic morning with lots of Christmas cheer!
