Music Bugs visit Nursery!
We had a lovely visit from Lyndsay in Music Bugs this morning. The boys and girls were so excited! We managed to fit lots of songs in to our session. We started with The Hello Song. Then we got instruments and played along to Play to the Beat. We sang a song about Peter Rabbit. We got special gloves too help us sing Five Currant Buns. Then we got our own bunny ears and did Sleep Little Bunnies and The Bunny Hokey Cokey. Next, Lyndsay gave us our own little birds to sing Two Little Dickie Birds. We had lots of actions to do in If You’re Happy, Clap your Hands. We then got some green material to hold and shake, with five very bouncy chicks on it for the Chick, Chick, Chicken song. The bubble machine came out, much to the delight of the boys and girls. They had great fun trying to pop them all! The colourful ribbons were used for When the Music Stops and Shake your Sillies Out. Then we got the parachute out and we all had a go with it. We shook it, lifted it, looked under it and even passed it around to our friends without letting go! We finished with The Goodbye Song. We all got special stickers for taking part! We love our Music Bug visits and can’t wait until the next one! Thank you so much, Lyndsay!
