What a great day P4 had today when Mr Boyd was ‘Teacher for the Day’. This morning he started by leading the prayers and helping to sort P4 registration and money. Soon it was on to setting the timetable and he thought that it would be a good idea to reward his pupils with tabletop games and outdoor play in the afternoon if they worked hard at their Maths and English. He then took a few revision sessions on 3d shapes and charts and loved asking the pupils to tell him the answers in turn. Then it was time for English. Mr Boyd was so impressed with the handwriting in P4 that we almost lost count of how many certificates he gave out. He was then joined by Miss Savage our ‘Principal for the Day’ who after inspecting all the wonderful work, summoned him to a meeting in the staff room where discussions and treats were the order of the day. It wasn’t long until spellings were tested, ‘Friday Finishers’ were completed and Mr Boyd was ready to announce a lovely afternoon of team games and fun.
Well done Harrison and Cliodhna. Mrs O’Neill, Caiti and all your P4 classmates agree that you both did a terrific job today.
