The first of our pic collages for 'Learn' week has Amy (P3) and Alex (P1) proudly showing all the wonderful learning that has been happening at home over recent weeks.They have enjoyed making pancakes, planting wildflowers, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, celery, parsley and sunflowers. Brilliant work Amy and Alex! We will certainly have lots of gardening experts for our gardening groups as and when the time is right for school to resume.
Over the weekend I was contacted by Feidhelm (P3) and Lily (P5) who have been very busy over the last few days. First of all they helped their dad paint the living room, then they baked buns with their left over treats from Easter and finally they have been busy completing their homework. They really miss their friends and hoped that everyone was keeping safe and well. Caoimbhe (P6) also got in touch to say that it was her Granda's birthday over the weekend and she baked him a lovely cake. Well done Caoimbhe and I am sure he loved the surprise.
'Learn' week runs up until Friday 15th May. If you have taken up a new hobby, learned a new sports skill, a new tune, a new song, a new dance or delved into a new book or topic send your photographs or videos to aoneill392@c2kni.net. It's a lovely way for the pupils to see their friends on the website and for the whole schooling community to feel connected.
