Monday 8th June - Sock in the Bucket Challenge

Thank you to those who have already completed today's challenge and have sent in their pictures. I hope to upload some more later today so if you are doing this challenge please send in your pictures, along with the score you achieved, to pgilchrist570@c2kni.net

Mrs Gibson has set a very high score for you all to beat, some are mentioning that perhaps Mrs Gibson had a few practice session beforehand but she assures me that is not true! The first in this morning was Charlotte (P6) and Bella Grace (Nursery). Bella Grace achieved 3 in the 20 seconds and Charlotte's got 5. Charlotte used the stuffing all your socks down your t-shirt technique but it didn't work out the best choice of storage as they got stuck as she tried to take one out at a time. They both laughed and enjoyed the activity and they are both very much looking forward to tomorrow's challenge. Oscar (P1) managed to get 7 socks in the bucket...counting the one he is holding!! Finally for now, Kayleigh (P1) completed the sock challenge and after a few practice shots managed to get 6 pairs into her bucket! Well done so far everybody.  

Jack (P6) got in touch this morning to say that yesterday (Sunday) he was walking up through the Mournes and climbed to the summit of Slieve Binnian. Great achievement Jack and what a fantastic view you were able to get from up there.
