In class we worked in small groups to generate our own addition and subtraction sums by rolling dice.
As dice only go up to 6 we decided to have an option of adding 1, 2 or 3 to whatever the dice landed on to give some higher numbers.
The children enjoyed this task especially as it gave unpredictable sums!
