We will be having a very special ‘Maths Week’ in our school during the week beginning the 16th of October. This is an annual event for us in conjunction with ‘Maths Week Ireland’ and ‘Mathletics’. Over the course of the week, the children will be involved in even more Mathematics and Numeracy based learning where the whole school focus will be the sharpening of Mental Maths, Maths Facts and Procedures in a range of practical and interactive activities both in class and at home. As a parent, you can become involved too as you help your child to solve our daily puzzles, encourage your child to gain points on Mathletics or search and enjoy some of the suggestions on the www.mathsweek.ie website.
