We are delighted to announce that we will be taking part in a very exciting Maths Week in school from Mon 16th - Friday 20th October 2023. In conjunction with Maths Week Ireland, the EA Problem Solving Programme, Learning through Play and Mathletics, the children will be given the opportunity to explore lots of wonderful practical, mental and written Maths skills. Parents can also get involved in helping their child develop essential skills as each day we shall post ‘Problem Solving Puzzles’ on the website which can be solved at home and brought into school the next morning. There will be two seperate puzzles. One for P1/2/3/4 and a second puzzle for P5/6/7. Solutions/Answers can be dropped into our ‘Maths Week Problem Solving Box’ and winners chosen each day! The first puzzle will be sent out at 3.00pm today. Good luck everyone!
