'Maths Week' has been an outstanding success in our school this week with every child, assistant, teacher and student teacher getting involved in so many ways. A big thank you to Mr Gilchrist for his help with the daily puzzles and all the parents who kept their children busy as they worked out the various solutions.
As for Mathletics, there has been a fantastic uptake for the first half term with 183,150 Curriculum Points achieved as well as 22,302 Live Mathletics Points. 52% of 'Mathletics Time' was spent on Mathletics at home and 48% in school. So far the children have attained 85 bronze certificates and 3 silver certificates. This is super news! Remember, that if you have any issues logging onto Mathletics at home, there are IPads available at some of our After Schools Club slots too. Keep up the great work everyone. Mrs O’Neill (the Numeracy co-ordinator) is delighted with the progress.
