It has been a very busy few weeks in Primary Five. The boys and girls have been working hard on numbers to 1000. We have also played lots of interactive games to help consolidate new concepts and Times Tables. Primary Five enjoyed playing ‘Table Snap’ to revise the 2, 3 and 4 Times Tables. We have also been using the ‘Daily Ten’ whilst focusing on the strategy of ‘Partitioning’.
In Literacy, we have been focusing on Procedural Writing. We look forward to completing our piece of independent writing on ‘How to Play Rounders’. The next genre of writing is Poetry and we look forward to sharing some Autumn Verse Poems along with our lovely Autumn Art display.
Mr Smyth has been so impressed with the standard of work in Primary Five. The children have also been working very hard in preparation for the ‘Creation Assembly’ on Friday. Keep up the great work!
