As we move into the final weeks of the summer term we have some great news to share with you all. The Mathletics group have updated Mathletics so that it is now even easier to earn points and certificates in lots of different ways. Creating a Mathletics avatar has changed too with lots more interactive, exciting features, accessories and backgrounds to choose along the way.
So far in our school the boys and girls have achieved an amazing 21 gold certificates, 160 silver certificates and 868 bronze certificates. They have scored 1,576,390 curriculum points and 276,107 Live Mathletics points. Pupils are now voluntarily accessing 57% of activities themselves alongside the teacher assigned activities which shows such a wonderful enthusiasm for the program. We are also delighted to announce that we have maintained our 90% record ‘First Score Correct’ in Term 3.
Well done to all the pupils, parents, teachers, classroom assistants and our Numeracy co-ordinator Mrs O’Neill for continuing to promote Maths in such a fun and interactive way. Keep up the fantastic work and let’s see if we can earn even more Mathletics certificates before the end of term. Mathletics will also be available over the summer holidays.
