As we approach mid-term, it is time to celebrate our wonderful Mathematicians! Well done to all those boys and girls who continue to enjoy lots of practical, written and computerised activities in school and at home. Our ‘Marvellous Mathletics Board’ in school is full of an array of amazing certificates from all year groups. So far, the children have achieved 4 Emerald, 18 Platinum, 46 Gold, 132 Silver and 276 Bronze certificates. They have gained 530,388 Curriculum Points and 42,600 Live Maths Points. Average improvement per pupil went up by 8.5% this half term with almost 80% of the pupils on Mathletics scoring 85% or above. Those children who require support with Numeracy have been using many manipulatives, Mathletics booklets, our Five Minute Numeracy Boxes and our online Dynamo Maths program really effectively this term.
