MATHLETICS HAS BEEN UPDATED!

3rd Oct 2023

Our P3-P7 classes are due to be both introduced and re-familiarised with the wonderful world of Mathletics. Mathletics has been updated and contains lots of exciting new features. Mathletics is a secure, online Maths program purchased by the school for P3 to P7 pupils. Each child has been issued with a unique username and password so they can access Mathletics at home if you so wish. You will find individual usernames, passwords and a QR code printed on each child’s Mathletics card. Please keep your child’s username and password card safe.

  • The easiest way to access ‘Mathletics’ is to GOOGLE login.mathletics.com
  • You and your child can then enter his/her unique username and password codes in ‘Sign in’.
  • Once in the program, there is a parent/pupil video which can be viewed by you both together. Click on the blue ‘New Mathletics’ video icon in the right corner which will fully explain all areas within Mathletics.
  • There are four main areas - The Home page contains Activities, Challenges, Skill Quests and Assessments. The Resources area contains an A-Z Maths Dictionary, Workbooks and Videos to help with Mathematics and Numeracy. The Live Maths area contains number fact competitions. The Games area contains fun maths learning apps like Meritopia, Multiverse and Rainforest Maths.
  • With your help, your child can work through these activities, challenges, quests and apps to aid Mathematics and Numeracy skills development at home. They will also be working through these areas in school.
  • Your child can work to gain points which are turned into newly updated certificates. A target of 1000 points per week from Sunday to Sunday has been set by Mathletics which will gain initial bronze certificates. Bronze certificates then turn to silver, gold, platinum, emerald and legend etc as more points are earned by the child. Your child can also create and update their Mathletics avatar as they gain skills and points.
  • Should you wish, you can download lots and lots of workbooks to challenge and support your child’s Numeracy and Mathematics skills at home by clicking on the ‘Resources’ area.
  • By taking part in Mathletics, the school donates to the UNICEF charity.
