Congratulations to all the boys and girls in our school who continue to use Mathletics to enhance and improve their Numeracy and Mathematical skills.
As of 15th June, our P3-P7 pupils have achieved 1,055,047 Curriculum Points and 116,883 Live Mathletics Ponts. They have also secured an amazing 324 Bronze certificates, 220 Silver certificates, 123 Gold certificates, 70 Platinum certificates, 47 Emerald certificates, 27 Diamond certificates, 14 Epic certificates and for the first time ever... 3 top of the list, Legend certificates!
Mrs O’Neill, our Numeracy Coordinator is delighted with the response to Mathletics in school and is very thankful to all our teachers and classroom assistants who continue to promote and support with all things Mathematical through practical activities, outdoor learning, play activities, written problem-solving, STEM challenges, use of online platforms, websites and apps especially Mathletics, Dynamo Maths, the Anton app, Corbett Maths, Times Tables Rockstars etc as well as using our Five-Minute Numeracy Support Boxes and encouraging pupils to complete ‘Crossing the Midline’ exercises.
Parents, Mathletics will continue to be available for use until the end of June and over the summer holidays. We would love for you to continue to log on with your child and maybe even look at the Mathletics booklets which can be printed at home. These booklets are available for all topics and areas of Maths from P3-P7 and beyond in the ‘Resources’ section of Mathletics.
There are many additional ‘Parental Support Systems for Numeracy’ in 'Links' in the 'Home Learning' section and in the 'Curriculum' section of the school website. There are also ideas in the photographs below.
