Over recent weeks all our classes have been working on lots of active and interactive Mathematics and Numeracy work. From counting with blocks and using number arrays to measuring angles, converting analogue and digital 24 hr times, using Numicon and lots of treats for the beginnings of multiplication and consolidating division. The pupils have been given a vast array of opportunities, progressive teaching methods and support systems. The use of cross curricular links to Art and ICT was there for all to see with the use of modern, hybrid programs, websites and apps such as Mathletics, Dynamo Maths, Topmarks, Wordwall, Corbett Maths and PowerPoints covering a multitude of topics. A big thank you to all our wonderful pupils, parents, classroom assistants and teachers for continuing to expect the highest standards in all things Mathematical and Numerical.
