Learning about Our Universe
This week, the Ash class explored the world of galaxies (not the chocolate), and completed activities based on our WAU Space topic. The children crafted stunning intergalactic pictures with sponges, capturing the beauty of distant galaxies on paper. In addition, each child created their very own ‘universe in a bottle’ by adding mica powder to water, it transformed ordinary bottles into mesmerising cosmic displays. The classroom was filled with excitement, as they shook their creations, watching galaxies form and swirl inside. To add an extra sparkle, our young learners also enjoyed water play with special light-up cubes. This sensory experience not only illuminated their imaginations, but also sparked joy and curiosity.
