We are delighted to annnounce that our Primary 7 girls won the Peninsula Indoor School's Football competition which was on today in the Blair Mayne Centre, Newtwonards. Our girls played against 7 other participating schools. and they went through the tournament unbeaten, winning 6 and drawing one game. In fact they only conceeded one goal, which was in their first match. Congratulations girls and we look forward to displaying your trophy in our school celebration cabinet.
Thank you to Craig and Ian from the Ards and North Down Irish Football Association branch who orgainised this event and for providing girl's football coaching in our school over the last few weeks. All of their expert coaching and hard work certainly paid off for our girls today.
