Happy Easter from SP2
We have been very busy in the run up to Easter in our Specialist Provision with lots of Easter themed activities.
We showed great concentration and patience painting egg cups. There was messy painting fun making Easter chicks with a range of paint, glue and feathers.
The boys were tasked with a challenge in STEM to build an egg toothpick tower that held an egg up for 1 minute. If they succeeded they got to eat the chocolate egg. The boys chose varying structure designs and were even able to make their structure hold two treats in a bid to get more prizes. There was great teamwork shown in this lesson and plenty of good advice and ideas discussed.
This term we have enjoyed sharing our classroom with our peers from the mainstream. This is a big step for the children to share their space and interact with their peers in a controlled environment. We enjoyed sensory cookery, social games and maths lessons with our friends.
