During this month of May our focus is on 'Being a Good Friend to Others' and at this week's assembly we presented our Pupil of the Week certificates to Lucia (P1), Jacob (P2), Lucy (P3), Ethan (P4), Hollie (P5), Lucas (P6) and Adam (P7). Gold certificates for achieving 100 House Point certificates were presented to Cliodhna (P3), Alex (P4) and Eilidh (P5) and Grace (P7) was presented with her Millionaire Certificate for reading 1 million words in Accelerated Reader.
This week we celebrated with Aoibheann (P1) and Caragh (P1), Callie (P3), Leah (P4), Isla (P4) and Hannah (P4) who all won medals and trophies in Irish Dancing, Cliodhna won a gold medal and Gwen a silver at a recent Judo competition, Portaferry Town Boy’s soccer teams won their matches last weekend and the school Hurling Team just got beat in the East Down final by 1 point, with the school Camogie Team qualifying for the County Final in June 2023.
