We had a very busy Assembly today in school with our Primary 6 class delivering a fantastic Assembly all about celebrating God's creation and how there is a big world that we all have to explore.
This was followed by the distribution of certificates and there were many given out today. Our Pupils of the Week this week were Riley (P1), Jessica (P2), Alfie (P3), Caoimhe (P4), Kobi (P5), Darragh (P6) and Cian (P7). Our Playground Supervisor Awards were awarded to Leah (P4) and Amy (P7). House Point certificates for achieving 100 individual House Points were presented to Tyler (P3) and Callie (P4) and Mathletic Gold certificates were given to Leah and Callie in Primary 4.
At the end of each month we recognise those pupils who have increased their overall reading word count in Accelerated Reader. Up to the month of January Kaelem (P7), Lucas (P6), Amy (P7), Alannah (P6), Kate (P6) and Eilidh (P6) have read 50,000 words. Bradan (P6), Charlie (P5), Stephen (P6), Oscar (P5), Hannah (P5), Enda (P7) and Ollie (P6) achieved their 100,000 certificate. Oisin (P5), Evan (P6), Oliver (P6) and Shane (P6) achieved 250,000 words and finally Cillian (P6), Michael (P5) and Lee (P6) have achieved their 500,000 words. This is a great achievement by all and to date our P5/6/7 pupils have read almost 9 million words on the Accelerated Reader programme. Keep up the great reading.
