During our weekly Assembly we were delighted to welcome Conor and Eoin, representing Portaferry GAC, to celebrate them winning the County Championship and Antrim League trophies. It was great to welcome them to our school and celebrate in their success. Both, Conor and Eoin, stayed to present our Pupil of the Week certificates. This week these were presented to Caragh (P1), Lucas (P2), Lara (P3), Hannah (P4), Oliver (P5), Jamie (P6) and Keelan (P7). They all got to lift the trophy with Eoin and Conor after Assembly.
We also celebrated with Bella (P3), Aoibhinn (P5), Brooke (P5), Holly (P6), Alice (P7) and Niamh (P7) who won various trophies and medals at different Irish Dance Feis last weekend; Mya (P3), Lucy (P3), Caoimhe (P3), Aoife (P3) and Leah (P3) got certificates in gymnastics; Logan (P4) won Player of the Week in soccer; ; Meah (P6) has jumped over 50cm in a cross country jump; and all of our underage hurler and camogie stars of the future who celebrated their end of season. Congratulations to you all and a big thank you to Conor and Eoin and good luck to the senior Hurlers in the up-coming semi-final against Slaughneil. Hopefully we see more silverwear visiting our school again very soon.
