It was a special day in school today as we held our Beginning of the School Year Prayer Service. It was great to see so many of our schooling community gather to pray together for another successful year at St Mary's Primary School. We then hosted our weekly Assembly and this week our Pupil's of the Week were Beth (P1), Anna (P2), Dara (P3), Caoimhe (P4), Logan (P5), Darragh (P6) and Meah (P7). Our Special Playground Awards went to Lucy (P3) and Amy (P7) and a very special certificate was issued to Mr O'Neill who spent the last week with us on Teaching Practice. We would like to wish Mr O'Neill every success as he embarks on his new career.
Finally, at Assembly we introduced our new Eco Council, more details on this will publish on our school website next week. We also invited nominations for our Student Council and elections for this will be held next week in school. Enjoy your weekend.
