P7 designed and built their own ornithopters, inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s flying machines. They carefully shaped wings to flap like a bird’s and used lollipop sticks as struts to strengthen and support them. By experimenting with different designs and materials, the children tested how well their creations could move through the air, bringing da Vinci’s ideas to life in the classroom.
