Welcome to Primary 6!
A huge congratulations to all of you on completing your very first day in P6! What a fantastic start you've made. Today was packed with exciting activities and new learning adventures. You kicked things off with some beautiful handwriting practice, showing great focus and care. In maths, you worked brilliantly in groups, using dice to create your own addition sums. It was great to see you thinking creatively and adjusting your rules to add 1, 2, or 3 so that your highest number wasn’t 6—excellent problem-solving!
In English, you were introduced to speech marks and began exploring how to use them in your writing—what a great step toward becoming confident storytellers. You also had your first Religion lesson and made a strong start in ICT, where you successfully logged in and explored some interesting articles on Newsdesk. It’s clear that this is going to be a year full of learning, teamwork, and fun. Well done again on a brilliant first day—I'm so proud of you already!
