This week, the children in the Meadow were learning all about Firefighters for our ‘People who help us’ topic. We can now name equipment they may use, and discussed the jobs a fire fighter may do. The children also made two fire fighter themed crafts.
1) Shaving Foam prints: they crafted vibrant shaving foam prints with paint, and pressed down to make a picture, in order to mimic the dynamic motion of the flames.
2) Fire breathing cups: they used tissue paper and a paper cup to make a mindfulness breathing device, that when blown in to, moves like real fire.
