Again , many of you have been very busy and not letting the weather get in the way of expressing yourself.
Bella (P2) loves expressing herself by dressing up and singing/dancing on her stage and when not dancing or singing she loves to bake buns! Lara (P1) tells me that she thoroughly enjoys Well being Wednesday. She just loves to dress up as her favourite character from Frozen. She also set up shop today for her school work and her big sister Caitlin (P7) helped out while on a break from her work. The girls love watching a film together with popcorn as a treat for doing so well. Well done girls and a well deserved treat after all of that hard work today.
Leah (P1) just loves dressing up and is a big Disney Fan. Today she went for Jessie as she loves The Toy Story Movies and Jessie is her favourite character. She also loves playing with her Jessie Doll.
Callie (P6) and Harrison (P3) also got in touch this afternoon. Callie tells me as it was too wet to go out horse riding, she and her brother got their waterproofs on and did lots of jobs, like mucking out the stables and filling haynets. You two are very busy! Harrison tells me he much prefers to play football but when he can’t do that he helps Cahlie out while he's there. I am sure you are a great help to Callie and I am sure she appreciates the help. Aoibhe (P6) got in touch again and wishes she could get back to proper Irish dancing classes with her friends. She sent a lovely picture taken during the summer that she uses to cheer herself up and it makes her look forward to dancing with her friends again. EvaMarie (P6) and Isla (P2) told me that Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays are 3 of the most fun days in their house because its "dancing via zoom" days and they have catch ups with their dance friends and teacher. When not dancing or finishing their school work they love escaping with their granny to grow seeds in our greenhouse. Isla made a fairy garden with grass seed and Red Ameranth seeds. They really hope that all their flowering seeds grow to create some food for the bees.
James (P5) has been doing lots of his favourite things this week. He tells me he enjoys letting off steam at the beach and finding caves with his dad as well as going out and getting the fresh air and exercise on his bike. Then on the days when he just wants to relax he loves to play on his Nintendo switch and of course watching his favourite team Manchester United!! Today James dressed up as.....can you guess?!! A Manchester United footballer! He was feeling extra proud especially after that great win last night! I am hoping for a similar result for a different team in red tonight!! As his mum says it is lovely seeing him smile and be happy and indeed I agree.
Finally for today Lucy (P1) loves to dress up as her favourite Disney character, Anna from Frozen. She also loves to help her mummy with the housework and she likes to use her own hoover! Adam (P5) loves to pretend he is a Sheriff and likes to arrest his sister Lucy when she misbehaves! Poor Lucy! Adam tells me he got caps for his gun which he loves to shoot as it makes him feel like a real Sherriff! Great fun Adam.
