Today, the children explored cube nets in a hands-on geometry activity.
They began by examining various 2D nets and tried to visualise how each one might fold into a cube. After making their predictions about whether the net would form a cube, they cut out the shapes and attempted to construct the 3D cube. This allowed them to test their predictions and reflect on their reasoning.
