The boys and girls had fun exploring the properties of 2D shapes. They were introduced to some more complex 2D shapes and terminology. As a class, we came up with some useful hints for the harder 2D shapes. We decided that we would think of the word ‘Decade’ for a decagon and the word ‘Nine’ for a nonagon. We look forward to going on a 2D shape hunt around the school soon.
