This week, our Primary Five class have been busy exploring equivalent fractions. We were able to spot the word ‘Equal’ in the word ‘Equivalent’ which means the same. We were introduced to some new vocabulary such as ‘Numerator’ and ‘Denominator’. We enjoyed taking part in practical matching activities, textbook work and some virtual tasks on Mathletics. Multi- sensory learning is very important when trying to understand new concepts.
