On Monday, the Eco Council held a very special assembly to introduce our Eco Week to the rest of the school. This year our aim is to reduce our carbon footprint. The Eco Council have been working hard to prepare this assembly and have been working on how to get our message across.
During the assembly, the Eco Council explained what a carbon footprint is and ways that we can reduce our impact on the environment. The Eco Council spoke to the boys and girls about how recycling, reducing our waste, walking to school, and switching off electrical appliances can all make our carbon footprint smaller.
The Eco Council have planned a number of activities this week, that will help us learn a little bit more about our environment and how we can look after and protect it.
