We have been so busy getting ready for Easter this week! We made very special Easter hats which we measured to fit our heads. We loved wearing them. We also had a special farmyard in nursery this week. It had lots of little animals in it and we loved playing with them in all the different areas! We decorated our own Easter eggs to take home too. We made some yummy Easter Nest buns. We loved mixing the Rice Krispies with the melted chocolate. When they went in our bun case, we put 3 mini eggs in to make it look like a bird’s nest. Mrs Birt found some magic dust in the storeroom. We think the elves may have left it behind at Christmas time. We planted some jelly beans and covered them in the special dust and hoped that something good might happen. When we came in on Wednesday, we had a big surprise! The box was covered in a big red cloth and looked so much bigger! When Mrs Birt took the cloth off, we were so excited to see the jelly beans had turned into Easter lollies for all of us! We have been buying tickets for our Easter raffle for the last couple of weeks and we finally picked our winners! We raised lots of money for Trocaire, so thank you to everyone who helped with this. We hope everyone has a lovely Easter break!
