Today for literacy, the children explored the properties of true/false statements, as well as understanding what constitutes an opinion. Ash class examined a series of statements relating to dinosaurs, and they had to determine where each statement was true or not true, and then articulate their reasoning. This lesson helped them develop a deeper understanding of how to differentiate facts from opinions.
