Following our School Uniform Consultation exercise, the majority of responses indicated a desire to update our uniform. It was also recommended that we look at our school badge/ emblem. With this in mind we are hosting a “Design a Badge” whole schooling community competition.
Over this week at school we will be allowing pupils an opportunity to have a go at designing a badge for the school and from now, and during the half term holidays, we encourage you as parents, and our whole schooling community, to have a go at designing a badge to fully represent our school.
It is anticipated that the final design will fully encapsulate the true essence of our school as an inspirational and aspirational learning centre for all of our pupils, one in which everyone experiences successes.
Obviously all ideas will filter into any final design and we will hopefully have a number of different designs to choose from. In those final designs, our current badge will also be considered and could remain unchanged. We will consult with you, as parents, again, before making any final decisions.
