We transformed our Role Play Room in to a Dark Den this week as we started our topic of Dark & Light. The boys and girls loved the projector on the ceiling and all the different torches and shiny objects. Their favourite place to go was in to the tent with all the torches! A lot of the children had been to see the fireworks at the weekend. We made lots of different pictures in Nursery this week. We used dishwasher brushes which were great for splattering paint on our pages. We also used paint sticks which made lovely fireworks. Our favourite activity was probably our last one on Friday. We made fireworks using shaving foam and paint! We started off using cotton buds as our paintbrushes, but it soon became too tempting and we had to use our hands! There was shaving foam everywhere!! It was so much fun and there was lots of chat about the different colours we made by mixing the paint together!
