Cross -Curricular Titanic Work In P5
The boys and girls of P5 have been working very hard on their Titanic topic. Over the course the week, we have created diary entries. The children watched an olden day video of the Titanic leaving Southampton as a stimulus. They had to imagine that they were a passenger boarding the ship and create powerful descriptions of the ship and observing the mass crowds as she began her maiden voyage. I was so impressed with the children’s use of descriptive language. As part of their STEM, the children worked in small groups to produce models of the Titanic. They used shoe boxes, paper, tape, cardboard holders and PVA glue. We look forward to showing you the finished models. Fantastic effort as always Primary 5!
