The children in Ash class and Primary Four enjoyed a fantastic cross-curricular ICT and world around us lesson today. Using EARL robots, pupils worked together to code directions on a map, bringing their topic to life in a fun and interactive way.
The children carefully followed and created sets of instructions, programming the robots to travel to different minibeasts on the map. This activity supported the development of early coding skills, problem-solving and teamwork, while also reinforcing their learning about the topic of minibeasts. It was a wonderfully inclusive learning experience, with all pupils actively engaged and supported to succeed. The excitement and enthusiasm in the classroom showed how powerful hands-on, technology-rich learning can be!
