We were delighted to welcome Ciara back to our school today. Ciara was out and about in Portaferry making a film documentary about her influences and we were honoured that she wanted to visit our school. There was a great sense on anticipation as Ciara entered our school hall to loud cheers. She then spent time talking to all of our pupils and admiring the many banners and posters the pupils had made. Ciara then led our pupils on a small run and there were many trying to beat her in a race but she was too fast for them.
It was great to see Ciara and we all wish her every joy and success as she prepares for the upcoming Olympics in Paris. Hopefully we get another celebratory visit at the end of the summer.
