As Wednesday was the last full day before the Eater Holidays we had a very busy weekly Assembly giving out many awards and certificates. Our Pupils of the Week were Dara (P1) Evie (P2), Lucie (P3), Caoimhe (P4), Oscar (P5), Oliver (P6) and JJ (P7). Our Playground Awards went to Rosa (P3) and Kobi (P5). Our Gold Award certificates for achieving 100 individual House Points was presented to Cliodhna and Olivia in P4 and Mathletic certificates were presented to Enda (P7), Conall (P3) and Tom (P4).
During this half term we organised a Story Writing Competition for P4/5/6/7 pupils. The theme was 'Once upon a Dream,' and each pupil was encouraged to enter a story. We were delighted and amazed at the standard and content of all stories entered and Mr Gilchrist and the class teachers had the very difficult task of selecting class winners. In fact we could not select just one class winner so we decided to select the top 3 from each class. At Assembly on Wednesday we were delighted to present special prizes to Gwen, Leah and Tom in Primary 4, Michael, Kayleigh and Hannah in Primary 5, Oliver, Ruairi and Brooke in Primary 6 and Enda, Amy and Hollie in Primary 7. The overall winner was Aoibhinn in Primary 6. Thank you to everyone who entered a story.
The winners of the Primary 3 Trocaire Easter colouring competition were John (P1), Isla Rose (P2), Dara (P3), Caoimhe (P4) and Meabh (P5). The overall winner was Lara (P4).
Lucia (P2) won the Parent Support Group Easter bunny and Kobi (P5) won the tickets to Joe the Magician in the Portico.
Finally, the Green team won the House Point trophy for this term.
Well Done to all of our prize and certificate winners. We hope you all have a happy Easter and we look forward to seeing you all again on Monday 8th April 2024.
