P5 had a great day out yesterday at Castle Espie learning lots about birds especially Brent Geese who migrate to Strangford Lough every year from Artic Canada. They make the 3000 mile journey every August/September in search of eel grass which is plentiful along the shores of Strangford Lough. We got to feed the birds and find the secret swamp as well as having time to find all the lego animals. We even found time to play in the woodland park.
