The children in Special Provision 1 embarked on an exciting summer holiday adventure - right here in school. Through a wonderful camping role play, they discovered the joys of summers holidays. We have been learning this week about what kinds of holidays we can go on, for example beach holidays, skiing adventures or camping in the wild. The children loved setting up the tent, pretending to fish and even making a camp fire. Their imaginations soared as they gazed at the stars in the sensory room, and chatted around the campfire, telling stories. This enriching experience brought to life camping in a very enjoyable way, and our hands-on approach encourages creativity and imagination.
