Over the past week we have enjoyed some hands on learning experiences exploring our sense of smell and touch through cookery. We made yummy burgers from mince, onion and red sauce. They were so delicious we didn't even have any left to bring home.
In STEM we accepted the challenge to make a wind car, this was tricky to make but we were delighted when we took them outside and they moved freely around the playground. We were very fortunate to win a competition prize from Twinkl and were given some gardening equipment. Today we planted some peas and beans, we are excited to watch them grow!
To brighten up our window we made some beautiful summer scenes using paint markers.
We enjoyed playing games and trading Pokemon and football cards developing our bargaining skills.
In literacy we have been exploring different narrative texts to describe characters and predict endings.
As a reward for working so hard we had our breakfast in a local café today. This helps us build life and social skills, having interactions in unfamiliar surroundings.
