As part of our topic on autumn we have been reading ‘The Little Red Hen’. We discovered that flour is used to make dough on the bottom of pizzas 🍕 so we wanted to set our role play area up as a pizza parlour. We have had great fun acting out the different roles of customer, pizza chef, delivery people and waiters/waitresses. We also made our own dough and talked about its consistency. We experimented with adding water and found out that it made dough really sticky!! We loved the feel of it and although it was messy, we loved it!
