This autumn, our P1 children have been busy exploring the outdoors and foraging for natural treasures to inspire their creativity! With pockets full of conkers, colourful leaves, and fluttery sycamore seeds, they’ve been turning nature into art — crafting imaginative faces, robots, lorries and many other ideas using the materials they’ve gathered. It’s been a joyful blend of learning and play, as children develop fine motor skills, explore seasonal changes, and express themselves through hands-on creativity. It was great fun and we were delighted to use the I-pad to capture the art as we knew they wouldn't last. Well done P1!
