At our final assembly of the school year we presented special course complete certificates to those who successfully completed the Mathletic programme for this particular year. Certificates were presented to Eva-Marie, Francis, Ellie, Caitlin, Evan, Pearse (all Primary 4) Nicole (Primary 5), CJ, Ethan, Katie, Chloe, Trudy(Primary 6) and Daniel (Primary 7) Remember the Mathletic programme is available during the summer break to help sharpen your mathematical processing.
Also at assembly we presented special millionaire reading certificates to Lucy, Dante and Emmet (all Primary 5) as they all read over 1 million words on accelerated reading this year. Throughout the year we had 7 millionaire readers, which is a record for the school. However we had 2 pupils who exceeded this number as Kian (P5) moved beyond the 2 million word mark and Cara (P5) read over 3 million words. Congratulations to all of our millionaire and multiple millionaire readers.
Remember to keep up with the reading over the summer months and remember the library is running an inter-school reading challenge. Don’t forget to register from Monday 2nd July.
