Another busy day for our Schooling Community

26th Mar 2020

Thank you for sending in your photographs. It's great to se what everyone has been up to. Belle (P1) is really missing all the fun of P1 and she can’t wait to play with her friends again. She has been very busy- her daddy and her made a bird house today and will paint it tomorrow and she has painted rocks to help her with her sums.

Zoe (P6) was enjoying some home learning/daily exercise in the garden and Ava (P2) was doing PE with Joe and going for walks along the beach. The Mullan family; Erin (P7), Matthew (P4) and Gwen (Nursery); have been very been busy, playing lots of board games, doing some science experiments on cardiac function, bridges and they also had an outdoor pizza playdoh party. Cody (P5) and Olly (P2) were busy doing maths.

Adam (P4) and Lucy (Nursery) had a busy day, starting with schoolwork, doing jigsaws, making flowers, baking buns and walking their dog and finishing off skimming stones at the beach near their house. Jack (P6) enjoyed some quiet reading today while his mum power-hosed the yard! Kian (P6) and Niamh (P4) did lots of measurements with mls and litres and raided my cupboards to find and list things that were measured in mls/litres. They even had time for ixl, accelerated reading quizzes, spelling tests, writing letters to friends, New Wave maths and English and a picnic in the garden. Now mum said it is time for her to get back to her own work!

Cormac Dynes (P1) is missing his friends and school community alot, and doesn't quite understand why school isn't open but is making the most of it at home. His mum gives thanks for the good weather, in between learning we have been able to get out and play in the garden, plant some flowers, hunt for worms for our wormery and do lots of junk crafting! I have attached a few photos of our week so far. Keep you pictures coming.
