Accelerated Reader

We are delighted that so many of our P4-7 pupils are still engaging in Accelerated Reader and it is a great tool to check pupils understanding of the books they have read. Since we finished school on 23^rd March our pupils have read a total of 1,734,745 words with a 96% pass rate on the total number of quizzes taken. Our records show that Chloe F (P7) has read the most with a combined word count of 310,322 closely followed by Cara (P6) with a word count of 193,069 words and Dante (P6) a word count of 191,620 words. We can also see that Charlotte (P6) completed 11 quizzes successfully; Sophia (P4) and Matthew (P4) successfully completed 9 quizzes; Nicole (P6) and Ellie (P5) successfully completed 7 quizzes; Adam (P4) and Eva Marie (P5) successfully completed 5 quizzes and Francis (P5), Alice (P4) and Aoibhe (P5) all successfully completed 4 quizzes.

It is important you encourage your child to keep reading over this period and if possible you log onto the Accelerated Reader programme at https://ukhosted44.renlearn.co.uk/2235150/ or via our Online links section of the school web site to take a quiz on the books, if the books are available on accelerated reader.  Your child simply logs in as a student using the first letter of their Christian name and their full surname followed a 3 digit number of their c2k log in details.
