Just a short stroll from our doorstep, a wonderful adventure awaited us at Exploris Aquarium. With cheerful smiles and open arms, we were warmly welcomed before embarking on an exciting guided tour with the ever-friendly and knowledgeable Blair, who shared many treasures of the underwater world.
The children listened attentively to Blair as he introduced us to sharks, stingrays, starfish, an octapus, penguins, cappybara, otters and sea lions to name but a few! We even found Nemo and Dory, saw a seahorse and a snake too. Oh, what fun we had!
After an enthralling, informative journey through the aquarium, the Primary 3 and 5 children settled down to a tasty feast at the Shark Shack where the fun continued with lots of laughter, chatter and questions about their experiences.
Not forgetting our visit to the Play park where the children enjoyed the fresh sea breeze and had good fun on the play equipment and on the green.
A day of discovery, friendship and fun - one we will treasure for a long time to come!
