We have been very busy in Nursery with lots of wintery activities. We made beautiful snowflakes for our walls. We also painted snowmen. Our role play room is now a Winter Room. We just love playing in the igloo! There are also penguins and polar bears too! When we went outside on Monday we were very surprised to find snow! We loved playing with it and making snowballs. We painted penguins and were very proud of our finished pieces! They look great up on the wall. Since we have started a new year, we decided to try different foods at snack time. We had pineapple, blueberries, plums, cucumber, peppers, carrots, melon and baby corn. There were great words used to describe these foods - crunchy, soft, juicy, hard. One child even said the pineapple smelt like sun cream. Even though not everybody ate the foods, they all had a go at touching, smelling and licking them! Well done boys and girls!
