Our Primary 1 pupils have been learning all about explanation writing through an engaging project on wind. After exploring the information book The Wind and Us, the children discussed how wind helps us in everyday life — from turning windmills and powering turbines to drying washing and flying kites. They then followed step‑by‑step instructions to build their own windmills, practising important fine motor skills along the way. Finally, the class headed outdoors to see the wind in action, watching their creations spin and bringing their learning to life. Who knew learning could be such a wind-filled adventure!?
